Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is inhabited mostly by Venetians and maintains its genuine atmosphere, with picturesque small shops for
every day life, little food markets, and traditional “baccari” (wine bars).
It is really a pleasure to walk along la “Fondamenta della Misericordia”, or the Cannaregio Canal at sunset
when Venetians coming back from the work meet in these picturesque inns, before going back home for dinner,
for a “ombra e cicchetto” (glass of wine and small snack) and some nice chats.
I always suggest my guests to join them in this pleasant moment of relax end enjoy this Venetian tradition.
